Jennifer Beecham
Professor Jennifer Beecham has worked at the Personal Social Services Research Unit for more than 25 years, and is Professor of Health and Social Care Economics at the University of Kent and Professorial Research Fellow at the London School of Economics. Professor Beecham's research has included studies, mainly with an economic focus, on services for people with needs related to mental health, learning disabilities, and old age. Many of her projects over the past 15 years have focused on children and children's services, including evaluations of children's social care and mental health services, as well treatments and supports for children and adolescents with eating disorders, autism, long-term neurological conditions and other disabilities.
