Professor Ann Phoenix co-directs the Childhood Wellbeing Research Centre with Professor Harriet Ward from the Centre for Child and Family Research (CCFR) at Loughborough University. Together, they are responsible for managing and co-ordinating the work of the Centre, ensuring quality and timely completion of all outputs. As well as leading and working with the Senior Management Team, she co-directs the Thomas Coram Research Unit, at the Institute of Education. She brings to the team extensive experience of conducting funded research in psychosocial studies, racialised and gendered identities; masculinities; consumption; the transition to motherhood and transnational families.
