The Childhood Wellbeing Research Centre is an independent research centre with funding from the Department for Education to provide high quality research, analysis and expert advice on the issues that promote or inhibit childhood wellbeing.
The centre is a partnership between the Thomas Coram Research Unit (TCRU) and other centres at the Institute of Education, the Centre for Child and Family Research (CCFR) at Loughborough University and the Personal Social Services Research Unit (PSSRU) at the University of Kent.
It is a multidisciplinary collaboration combining demography, economics, education, health promotion, psychology, social work, sociology, social policy and statistics.
